Cachalote video: Galapagos Islands experienece

Galapagos Experience aboard the Cachalote. Watch this video and learn about life aboard the motor sailor!

We have recently returned from a cruise around the Galapagos Islands aboard the Cachalote. The Cachalote is a 16-passenger motor sailor that offers guests an in-depth and authentic Galapagos experience. This boat is one of the few motor sailors operating in the Galapagos. For this reason, she offers a very unique experience. The yacht provides first-class service, and all excursions are accompanied by a highly experienced naturalist guide.  While on the cruise, guests have a chance to go on nature walks, hikes, snorkeling, and kayaking.

Cruising through the Galapagos Islands offers travelers the opportunity to visit many areas of the archipelago that are only accessible by a live-aboard boat. This is the only way to truly appreciate the diversity and abundance of wildlife on the islands, both in the water and on land. Each morning Cachalote guests will awaken in a new part of the islands. Shortly after breakfast, they will disembark for the morning activities. During the morning the guests will go on a guided nature walk, or hike, and then have a chance to snorkel. The boat moves to the next visitor site over lunch. During this time guests have a chance to relax or look for whales and dolphins from the deck. Later in the afternoon, the guests disembark for another nature walk. On some days there is another opportunity to snorkel and swim. In the evening everyone regroups for a briefing by the guide and for an opportunity to reflect on that day’s Galapagos experience.

We encourage you to watch the below video as it will give you a first-hand view of what this Galapagos experience can be like. We hope that it encourages you to book a trip on this lovely yacht. We are sure you will not be disappointed.  Click to read more about the Cachalote or learn more about the Galapagos Islands.
