Along the Pacific Ocean, long and thin Chile stretches 4300km, from the driest desert in the world to the massive glacial fields at the southern tip of South America.

Beyond all this in the Pacific Ocean lay Raya Nui (Easter Island), a UNESCO World heritage site and the Juan Fernández archipelago, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve mainly for its singular flora.
