Patagonia: Travel to the End of the World

If you like adventure, nature, geology and unique landscapes, then Patagonia should be on your travel list. On arrival into Patagonia, you may be unsure about where you have landed and what you have gotten yourself into. The stark landscape may not be exactly what you had in mind, but regardless you will immediately feel captivated by this quiet yet mysterious place.

This large area was one of the last parts of the world to be settled, most likely due to the cold climate and long distances from other parts of the world. For this reason much of the region remains untouched and is still feels very remote. When you arrive in Patagonia, you truly feel that you are at the end of the world. But behind this remoteness there is actually an abundance of life, biodiverse ecosystems, incredible geological formations, and massive glaciers.

A trip to Torres del Paine National Park, or Perito Moreno Glacier, or Mount Fitz Roy, or the Lake and Volcano District, will surely leave anyone stunned; and most likely with a desire to return again. Behind the incredible natural wonders lies a culture stepped in horse riding and cowboys, the remains of indigenous cultures, and adventurous souls that make their home here.

When in Patagonia you can hike as much as your heart desires, horseback ride along the ridge of a hill, camp in remote areas where you are likely to spot the unique wildlife native to Patagonia, kayak through the turquoise-colored fjords, sip incredible wines at a comfortable lodge after a long days walk, and much more.
